Welcome
I go where the white space on the map beckons, and thrive in environments where innovation is valued and the customer comes first. I love to collaborate with brave leaders.
I help companies who depend on innovation to more successfully identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
Clients include Fortune 100 corporations, mid-size companies, and startup ventures in consumer products, high-tech, retail, and other competitive industries. Projects range from one day sessions to long-term development and mentoring assignments.
I bring over 20 years of proven experience. As a marketing executive, and in my current practice, I have:
- Developed and launched a host of $100MM products in the U.S. and internationally
- Accelerated growth for globally respected billion dollar brands such as Diet Pepsi
- Cracked the code on unconventional problems, including teaching capitalism to Communists in Hungary, helping an Indian JV partner optimize plant capacity, predicting the impact of obesity and diet trends, and understanding why children and young men really watch cartoons
I also draw from my theatre and creative writing experience, as brand building and story-telling share common roots.

Over the years that I have worked with Lisa Fernow, she has provided outstanding insights and guidance. When I was setting the direction for my startup venture, she helped me focus on a key framework for business analysis, and identified points of leverage for success. She's quick, direct, perceptive, seasoned, and resourceful.

Lisa played a powerful role for our team in how she constructively challenged us and helped prevent us from getting into group think about the competition. She was very effective in getting people to think outside of the box and use the insight from that in very practical ways. She has passion, creativity, drive, flexibility, and a powerful ability to problem solve. She is willing to play whatever role is needed, and is a great mentor because she has been in our shoes and understands the dynamics we face.
